about the bbcf

Zabde Ayienga with a family of orphan children.

BBCF stands for Border-to-Border Christian Fellowship. This project is the fulfillment of a vision which Zabde Ayienga, the international founder, had in 2002. Its headquarters are located in Nambale, Busia District, Western Kenya. It is a rural based organization working alongside clusters of African villages to meet the unique needs of individual communities.

Our Objectives

  1. To meet the needs of 25 schools in Western Kenya
  2. To provide uniforms and necessary school supplies for the students of those 25 schools who are unable to meet the needs themselves
  3. To work alongside the 25 schools and train the students in the role of leadership within their community
  4. To establish a rapport between the students of these 25 schools and the local widows, sick and elderly in their community
  5. To build a Community Resource Library and Health Clinic to service the 10 000 students who attend the 25 schools and the village community.
  6. To support others who have stepped up to meet the challenges of their community with little or no outside financial support
